The Anderson County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A Bicentennial gift of Four Winds Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, was made in 1974. The courthouse's 100 year anniversary and rededication was held on July 4, 2002 at 10:00 a.m.
