Deer Parks Wildlife Management Area is a protected 2,556-acre area near Roberts, Idaho, acquired in 1997 and 1999 in partial mitigation for the effects of constructing Palisades Dam. It is an important waterfowl habitat where most of the region’s waterfowl species can be found, including trumpeter swans. The area is open year-round to non-motorized travel, and hunting is permitted in the fall.
