The Korean War and the Vietnam War are honored through a tribute to veterans and to all those who sacrificed. It portrays a veteran as someone who, at one point in life, wrote a blank check to the United States of America for an amount up to and including their life. It honors the sons and daughters who answered the call in the Korean War to defend a country they never knew and a people they never met, during 1950 - 1955. It also pays special tribute to those who served, fought, and died in the Vietnam War, and who received neither their country's thanks nor their country's compassion, during 1961 - 1975.
