Henry County honored the men and women of the county who fought in the Great Wars and the heroes who gave their lives on land, at sea, and in the sky so that mankind might live in freedom. Dedicated on the Eleventh Day of November, 1972, it records county service members from World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam and emphasizes patriotic sacrifice and eternal remembrance.
