Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park in Cornish, New Hampshire, preserves the home, studios, gardens, and landscape of sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, whose estate, Aspet, became both his residence and a center of the Cornish Art Colony. After buying the property in 1885, he shaped it into a family home and artistic workplace, adding studios and designed grounds that display reproductions and original casts of major works such as Diana, Abraham Lincoln: The Man, The Adams Memorial, and The Puritan. Later managed as a museum by the Saint-Gaudens Memorial, the property became part of the National Park Service and remains a rare New Hampshire park site with a long-running sculptor-in-residence program.
