The Wyano community honored the men and women who served their country from 1941 to 1945 by naming them on its honor roll, and in 1981 it also remembered all from the community who served and were killed in World War I, World War II, Korea, and Viet Nam: Louis Convers, Louis Cornelia, John Beyrand, Ronald Mlinek Sr., Dallas R. Clark, and Thomas H. Sherbondy.
