The Forth Worth “Super D” Spudder was manufactured by the Forth Worth Well Machinery and Supply Company of Forth Worth, Texas, from 1923 through the 1930's. It had a maximum drilling depth of 3,000 to 3,200 feet, weighed 23,300 pounds, and required 45 to 85 horsepower.
