The Bunny Museum was a rabbit-focused museum that opened in Pasadena, California, in 1998 and later moved to a larger site in Altadena. Founded by Candace Frazee and Steve Lubanski, it grew from the couple’s daily exchange of rabbit-themed gifts into an enormous collection ranging from toys and ceramics to antiquities, parade float figures, freeze-dried rabbits, and live rabbits. Recognized by Guinness World Records in 1999 for its rabbit-related holdings, it expanded from 8,473 items to more than 40,550 before 2025. In early 2025, the Eaton Fire destroyed the building, exhibits, and original collection, but the founders announced plans to rebuild.
