Laurie M. Lawson (1873-1943) was an attorney, farmer, and Methodist layman who served in the South Carolina House from 1905 to 1910, in the South Carolina Senate from 1911 to 1914, and as president of the Darlington Agricultural Society from 1938 to 1939.
