Kraus House, also called the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park, is a historic residence in Kirkwood, Missouri, near St. Louis. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1950 for Russell and Ruth Goetz Kraus, it is notable for its striking geometric plan built around 60-degree and 120-degree parallelograms, with almost no right angles. Construction was unusually difficult because of the design and special materials, and the house was never formally completed, though work continued until at least 1960. The single-story brick and cypress house also reflected Russell Kraus’s artistic life. After decades of occupancy and later preservation concerns, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 and preserved in Ebsworth Park.
