Remains visible here include stone fireplace hearths and part of the original footer for the fort’s south wall. Artifacts found at the site, including USA buttons and artillery projectiles, suggest that in 1785 this may have been officers’ quarters and barracks for the artillery company of the 1st American Regiment.
