The RB-57A Canberra was a USAF light tactical photo-reconnaissance bomber built by the Glenn L. Martin Company and delivered to USAF on July 7, 1954. It operated with USAFE from 1955 to 1958 and with the 66th Tactical Recon, and it was a black version that flew in Europe. It was last flown by the Kansas National Guard in August 1992. The aircraft was donated by the U.S. Army, Aberdeen P.G., and restored using grant funds from Preservation Maryland. Its speed was 550 MPH, it had 2 Wright 65S engines, carried a crew of 2 consisting of a pilot and navigator, and had a range of 1000 miles.
