Obadiah Baker Homestead
History
Built in 1840, this house replaced a log cabin erected when the property was acquired from the Holland Land Company in 1804. The Baker family, prominent Quakers in this area, lived here for five generations. The home served as one last station of the Underground Railway for slaves en route to Canada via Buffalo.
