Production of the M60A3 for the U.S. Army ended in 1983, and conversion to the M60A3TTS (Tank Thermal Sight) ended in 1990. Its armament included one 105mm and one .51 caliber machine gun. It had a crew of four, a length of 23 feet, a width of 12 feet, a height of 11 feet, a weight of 58 tons, a range of 300 miles, a speed of 30 mph, and a 12-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine rated at 750 hp at 2,400 rpm.
