Mount Zion Covered Bridge, near Mooresville, Kentucky, spanned the Little Beech Fork on Kentucky Route 458 for about 150 years and became one of the state's best-known covered bridges. Built in 1871 and also called the Beech Fork and Mooresville bridge, it was long regarded as Kentucky's longest multi-span covered bridge, though records disagreed on its exact length. Once described as a Burr truss, restoration work from 2015 to 2017 reclassified it as a multiple kingpost truss with added arches, revealing an early structural change. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, it later served as a tourist attraction before fire destroyed it in 2021.
