This concrete pool was built for water scenes in movies filmed at Corriganville during the 1940's through 1960's. The square portholes on the sides of the concrete walls were camera windows used to shoot underwater scenes. The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Jungle Jim, and The African Queen were among the movies filmed at this location.
