Bull Mountain
Nature
Bull Mountain is an officially unnamed summit in the Raft River Mountains of northern Utah and the highest point in both the range and Box Elder County, rising to 9,938 feet. Near the Idaho line within Sawtooth National Forest, it occupies a notable drainage divide, with water on its north side flowing to the Raft and Snake rivers while its southern slopes drain toward the Great Salt Lake. Although very high, the summit is broad rather than sharply peaked. Its 3,725 feet of prominence make it a dominant landmark in this remote area, with sweeping views of the Albion, Black Pine, and Wasatch mountains.
