Nature
North Mamm Peak is a mountain summit on Grand Mesa in western Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, rising 11,129 feet within White River National Forest roughly 11.6 miles south-southwest of Rifle. It is recognized as a prominent summit because it stands out distinctly from the surrounding terrain. The peak has also been recorded under the name North Mam Peak, before North Mamm Peak was established in 1963. As part of Grand Mesa’s high country, it remains within a broad landscape of forested mountains and elevated terrain in the central Rockies.
