The Katz-McCombs House is a work of Peter Berndtson (1909-1972), an outstanding Pittsburgh architect who closely followed the organic architectural concepts of Frank Lloyd Wright. It received special recognition from the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation in 1989.
