Dale Hollow Lake State Park
Nature
Dale Hollow Lake State Park, formally Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park, is a Kentucky state park on the Frogue Peninsula along the northern shore of Dale Hollow Reservoir in Clinton and Cumberland counties. Covering about 3,400 acres, it occupies a prominent lakeside setting beside one of the region’s largest bodies of water, as the reservoir spans roughly 27,600 acres. The park’s peninsula location closely ties it to the lake, which shapes both the scenery and recreation there. As part of Kentucky’s state resort park system, it has long served as an established destination for access to Dale Hollow Lake in the hills of southern Kentucky.
