The Old Oxford Church was restored in 1949 under the direction of Bishop Arthur J. Moore. It stood as a symbol of our fathers' faith, the scene of many historic occasions, and a place loved by generations of Emory students. For many, it was another Bethel, the House of God, the Gate of Heaven.
