Bill Menor’s original 1892 homestead stands along the Snake River in Jackson Hole, where the Menor’s Ferry Historic District preserves the area’s early history. In 1969, this place was designated a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places. The district includes Menor’s Ferry General Store, which features turn-of-the-century style goods, period furnishings, and historic photographs, and Maud Noble Cabin, where Noble hosted a landmark meeting in 1923. A replica of Menor’s Ferry crosses the Snake River, operating from mid- to late summer depending on river flows, and summer guided walks explore the district’s history.
