Fagen Fighters WWII Museum in Granite Falls, Minnesota, is a military aviation museum centered on Second World War aircraft and artifacts, developed from Ron Fagen’s warbird collecting and restoration work. After buying his first warbird, a P-51, in 1994 and establishing Fagen Fighters Restoration in 1998, Fagen founded the museum in 2012. The site includes four display hangars, a restoration hangar, a reproduction Quonset hut, and a reproduction control tower that evoke a period airfield. Its collection and significance have grown through additions such as a Holocaust deportation boxcar, spare parts from Jay Wisler’s collection, a U.S. Navy hangar, and aircraft including an A-24 and a P-39.
