Located at Oak Grove, midway between Clarksville and Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the Old Post Office served as a stop for the triweekly stagecoaches that operated between Nashville and the Ohio River towns. The building was erected in the 1830s or earlier and was also used as a post office, church storeroom, and residence.
