Hollywood Wax Museum Branson is a two-story attraction on Highway 76 in Branson, Missouri, devoted to celebrity wax figures and film-themed displays. Part of the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center and operated by descendants of Spoony Singh, it opened in 1996 and became known for a Hollywood-style Mount Rushmore facade 150 feet long. Its exhibits change regularly and it also includes a large celebrity merchandise shop. A 2009 renovation costing $5 million added the 40-foot Great Ape of Branson and helped anchor a larger complex of attractions. The site later figured in redevelopment efforts along Branson’s entertainment corridor and in the area’s beautification and expansion.
