Casco Peak is a 13,915-foot mountain in central Colorado's Sawatch Range, on the Elbert Massif within San Isabel National Forest. Lying about 3.8 miles east of Independence Pass, it rises in a broad expanse of some of the highest terrain in the range. Because its elevation exceeds 13,000 feet but remains below 14,000, it is classified as a Colorado thirteener rather than one of the state's better-known fourteeners. Its high alpine setting and position on the massif give it the character of a prominent summit in this part of the Rocky Mountains.
