Baldy Mesa is a summit area in San Bernardino County, California, where a broad highland ends in a line of southern peaks above upper Cajon Canyon. Its highest point is an unnamed hill at the mesa’s southwest end, and the ridge descends eastward through lower heights to a hill at the far southeastern end. From these southern heights, the land falls toward Cajon Canyon, while the mesa overall slopes more gently north toward the distant Mohave River. On the east, Oro Grande Wash forms part of the mesa’s boundary and helps define its edge in the surrounding desert.
