Completed in 1921, this bridge honored World War I veterans. Designed by Concrete Steel Engineering Co., NY, and built by John F. Casey Co., Pittsburgh, it has three 250-foot reinforced concrete arch spans, stands 90 feet above the river, and is 1,266 feet long. It connected Fairmont by trolley, foot, and vehicle, was listed on the National Register in 1991, was renamed in honor of Congressman Robert H. Mollohan’s public service, and was restored in 2000.
