The Tallahassee Automobile Museum in Tallahassee, Florida, built around businessman DeVoe L. Moore’s personal collection, combines automobile history with a wide-ranging display of Americana. Its holdings include more than 170 automobiles, from an 1894 Duryea and a 1911 Ford Model T to a 1948 Tucker, a DeLorean, and three Batmobiles. Beyond cars, the museum presents objects reflecting everyday American material culture, including pianos, toy and pedal cars, boating items, sports memorabilia, motorcycles, bicycles, cash registers, clocks, motors, can openers, spark plugs, and boats. The site later drew national attention during the 2016 presidential election and was partly sold for an Amazon distribution center that opened in late 2023.
