Milford honors its men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States in all wars, remembers the founders, builders, and defenders of the town, remembers Thomas G. Hanley for outstanding contributions to the economic growth of Milford, Delaware, in July 1982, and honors all fallen heroes of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars with the words "Lest they be forgotten."
