Anderson Goose Lake, also called Goose Lake or Anderson Lake, is a natural glacial lake in central Iowa near Jewell Junction. It is especially important as a habitat for waterfowl and stands out in a region of Iowa where natural lakes are relatively uncommon. Its significance received formal national recognition in 1975, when it was designated a National Natural Landmark, reflecting both the value of its glacial landscape and its role as a refuge for birds.
