Cedar Creek State Park in West Virginia occupies 2,588 acres along Cedar Creek south of Glenville, combining family camping and outdoor recreation with reminders of the region’s pioneer-era past. In a rural valley setting, it includes restored historic features such as a log cabin used for campground check-in and the Pine Run One Room School, preserved with period desks and a potbellied stove and open for summer Saturday tours. The park also offers 65 campsites with water and electric service, fishing lakes, a swimming pool, picnic shelters, paddleboats, miniature golf, and a camp store. Recreation and local history remain closely linked there.
