Temple Hill is a 1,038-foot mountain in Orange County’s San Joaquin Hills, rising above southern Laguna Beach between downtown and Aliso Creek. The second-highest peak in the range, it occupies a prominent position between Laguna Canyon and Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park. Its significance lies in both recreation and views: trailheads on its slopes link to hiking and biking routes through surrounding open space, while the summit overlooks Saddleback Valley, the Pacific Ocean, much of Orange County, and the San Gabriel Mountains. The hill also serves amateur radio use, supporting seven repeaters and a beacon maintained by the South Orange Amateur Radio Association.
