Irvine Bowl is the home of the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters. The originator was Laguman John Hinchman. The first living pictures were presented in 1933 as The Spirit of the Masters Pageant. The Festival of Arts Association was formed in September, 1934 and the first Pageant of the Masters was presented in 1935.
