The Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery camped near Weippe Prairie, Idaho. The site is identified with datum NAD 83 and NAVD88 at latitude N 46º21' 00", longitude W 115º55' 30", and elevation 3011 ft, and it was placed in December 2004.
