Hays Bridge Historic District in Montgomery Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, preserves a small cluster of early rural buildings and bridges. The district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, includes a three-story, five-bay limestone house, an early nineteenth-century bank barn, an early nineteenth-century stone double-arch bridge, and an 1883 Burr Truss covered bridge. Also known as Ped Bridge or Witherspoon Bridge, the covered bridge measures 87 feet by 14 feet and has a corrugated metal roof. Its greatest importance today lies in being the only remaining covered bridge in Franklin County.
