Charles A. Lindbergh State Park preserves the former Lindbergh family farm on the edge of Little Falls along the Mississippi River, combining natural landscape with the restored 1906 home of Charles August Lindbergh and his son, aviator Charles Lindbergh. The house, rebuilt after an 1905 fire, reflects the family’s financial strain and later became the center of a memorial park created in 1931 after C.A. Lindbergh’s death. New Deal-era stone and log structures added in 1938 and 1939 remain as a historic district. With its quiet river setting, historic farmstead, and museum, the park unites family memory, public recreation, and historic preservation.
