Diehls Covered Bridge, also known as Turner’s Bridge, is a wooden covered bridge in Harrison Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania, spanning the Raystown Branch Juniata River. Built in 1892, it is an example of the Burr Truss design widely used in Pennsylvania and retains the shallow gable roof typical of traditional American covered bridges. At 88.3 feet long, it reflects the craftsmanship and rural infrastructure of the region’s late 19th-century bridge building. As one of 15 historic covered bridges in Bedford County, it forms part of a notable concentration of surviving examples and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
