In downtown Marquette, Kansas, this museum centers on vintage motorcycles, displaying more than 100 machines, many of them early American bikes, along with memorabilia and artifacts. Founded in 2003 by Marquette native and racer Stan Engdahl, known as “Stan the Man,” it reflects the career of a five-time National Racing Champion noted for scramble victories. A standout exhibit is his custom-built Harley-Davidson, which he raced from the 1940s into the 1990s. After Engdahl died in 2007, the museum remained closely tied to his legacy, with his wife LaVona serving as curator until her death, and it became a popular stop for motorcycle enthusiasts in central Kansas.
