Chitwood Falls is a coastal waterfall on Chitwood Creek in Oregon’s Cascade Head Scenic Research Area, near where the creek enters the Cascade Head North Marine Protected Area. It is accessed from Forest Road 1861 by a walk that crosses a footbridge about half a mile from the start and continues to a bench overlooking the ocean. Past the bench, the route is no longer groomed. From the end of the headland and evergreen trees, the falls are visible to the left of the meadow, with a coastal inlet behind them.
