Camp Wooten Retreat Center
Nature
Camp Wooten Retreat Center is a group camp in Washington’s state park system in the Blue Mountains of southeastern Washington, about fifteen miles south of Pomeroy along the Tucannon River. Considered the state parks’ largest retreat center, it spreads around the river and nearby Donnie Lake and includes a 1930s-era dining hall, cabins, and other camp buildings tied to its long use for retreats and environmental learning. Designed for group stays and organized programs, it offers indoor swimming, canoeing, hiking, archery, and other recreation. Its forested Tucannon setting, historic structures, and broad activities make it a distinctive state park property.
