The Loch Ness Monster opened in Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 1978 as the world's tallest coaster, standing 130 feet high. With a layout as twisting as the beast that lends it its name, it features the world's first and only remaining interlocking loops. In 2008, it celebrated its 30th birthday after testing the bravery of millions of park guests through the years.
