Windsor, Ontario's Serbian Heritage Museum is a not-for-profit community institution inside the Serbian Center, devoted to preserving and presenting the history and culture of the Serbian community. Regarded as the largest Serbian museum outside Serbia, it offers exhibits in Serbian and English. Its collection grew from a local effort begun in 1976 by the Serbian Heritage Women's Club, whose exhibit at what is now Windsor's Community Museum led to a permanent museum. The collection includes art, archival documents, jewellery, textiles, instruments, books, and other artifacts. Through recurring exhibitions, travelling displays, festivals, and dance programs, it remains a living center of community heritage.
