In Thermopolis, Monument Hill overlooks the Big Spring, a natural phenomenon, along with other springs and beautiful terraces created by mineral deposits from these healing waters. The area is associated with the history of the Indians' Gift of the Waters to the White man, and it also includes a large buffalo herd and many park facilities with no entrance fee.
