The memorial honors the men and women of Ward Six who served in World War II and is dedicated to those who made the supreme sacrifice to God and country. Their memory was perpetuated by the McDonaugh Square Associates for the years 1941-1945. The reverse side includes two rows of names plus two rows of deceased Korean veterans.
