The Kendall Building
History
The Kendall Building stands on the original site of Kendall's Pool Hall. The original wood structure was built in 1900 and was destroyed by fire. Fred and L.B. Kendall built the present Prairie Craftsman style building in 1916, and it operated as Kendall's Pool Hall until 1964. In 2016, Kendall's great granddaughter, Rosie Kious-Tucker, and her husband, Ray Tucker, renovated the entire building. It is a contributing building in the National Historic District.
