Eakin Mill Covered Bridge is a historic covered road bridge in rural southeastern Ohio near McArthur, carrying Mound Hill Road over Big Raccoon Creek at the former Eakin Mill site. Built in 1870 by Gilman and Ward of McArthur, it used multiple king posts rather than the more common single king post truss, giving it added strength for the heavy traffic generated by the nearby gristmill. Set on stone piers with weatherboarded sides and a metal roof, it later became unsuitable for modern trucking, suffered damage from overweight vehicles, and was closed and replaced. It remains in place and is recognized for both engineering and transportation significance.
