Hemet Maze Stone is a prehistoric petroglyph in Reinhardt Canyon in the Lakeview Mountains near Hemet in Southern California. Known for an unusual geometric design, it consists of two centered rectangular boxes with connected patterns that create a maze-like effect, and it can also be interpreted as four enclosed forms. Classified as California Engraved within the California Tradition of rock art, it survives as a rare example of prehistoric rock art in inland Southern California. The five point seventy-five-acre site was donated to Riverside County in 1956 and protected with fencing, blocked vehicle access, and preserved surrounding habitat, though the carving was later defaced by vandalism.
