Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area in Green County, Wisconsin, is a protected landscape in the Driftless Area built around the man-made Beckman and Zander lakes on a spring-fed creek. In a region known for rugged terrain and relatively few natural lakes, the creek was dammed to create water recreation opportunities. The two reservoirs together cover 95 acres and give the area its defining character. The present recreation area emerged in 1980 through the combination of Cadiz Springs State Park and the Browntown Wildlife Area, and it continues to provide outdoor access centered on those lakes.
