Fishtrap Lake State Park was a state park southeast of Pikeville in eastern Kentucky, centered on Fishtrap Lake, a reservoir of about 1,130 acres. Opened to the public in 2003, the park took its identity from the lake, which was its defining feature and the focus of the site. The water itself shaped the park’s character and significance.
